This Privacy Policy located hereunder is applicable to the Befitment Limited web-app and website and all other sites, mobile sites, services, applications, platforms, and tools where this Privacy Policy appears or is linked (collectively, the "App"). As used in this Privacy Policy, "Befitment Limited"; “Befitment”; "us"; "we"; or "BE"; refers to Befitment Limited and its subsidiaries and affiliates.

This Policy directly describes how Befitment Limited treats personal information we collect both online and offline. It also includes mail delivered to our locations and in phone or email and electronic online interactions you have with us.

Contact Information. When you use our web-app, we may collect certain non-personal information such as your browser type, device information, and usage data. You are not required to create an app profile, however we may collect your name and address and other confidential information submitted by you. We may also collect your phone number or email. We do not collect your health credit card and other financial information. If you do purchase from Befitment Limited, your information is logged and processed securely through a payment gateway of our financial partners.

Health and Fitness Information. We do not request information about your health and fitness. Any information given would be provided by you at your own volition should you desire to do so for your personal use of the web-app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. We understand the sensitivity of health and fitness data shared and want to assure you that we do not collect any personal health and fitness information through our web-app. We are pleased to inform you that the content that we provide within our app is open and freely accessible to all users. We do not use internet tracking cookies. We do not use any tracking tools like browser cookies or web beacons however for registered users and Befitment members, a login cookie is utilized for retained access into the web-app.

We use information to respond to your requests or questions. We may use your information to contact you or confirm your registration. If you give us your information for a third party, we will only use it to provide services you requested.

We use information to improve our services and product offerings. We may use your information to customize your experience with us. This could include displaying content or developing activities based upon your preferences.

We use information to look at site trends and customer interests. We may use your information to make the Befitment web-app, website and products better. We may combine information we get from you with information about you which we may obtain from social media sites.

We do NOT disclose your personal, professional, health and fitness information with anyone. We uphold GDPR Standards. Befitment is dedicated to upholding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards to safeguard the rights and obligations of our users. However, its goals and objectives are recognized as an international standard for Befitment as it places responsibilities on the handling of your data. Befitment has implemented robust technical and security measures to safeguard your interactions within the web-app. All data is stored in GDPR-compliant servers in the United States to protect user privacy. Additionally, Google Cloud platform is used as our primary cloud interface allowing our app users to manage personal data, including edits and account deletion.

 

WE MAY SHARE YOUR INFORMATION.

We will share information with third parties who perform services on our behalf. We may share information with vendors who help us manage our online registration process, communication channels or who fulfill your purchases.

We will share information with our business partners. We may share your information with a third party who provides management and or web-app and website management services. Our partners use the information we give them as described in their privacy policies. We shall always inform you and you should read those polices to learn how they treat your information.

We may share information if we think we have to in order to comply with the law or to protect ourselves. If requested, we will share information to respond to a court order or subpoena. Even if you opt out of getting marketing messages, we will still be sure to send you transactional messages, such as orders. To opt out of our social media is directly within your control (but we will be saddened to see you leave should you do so).

Your responsibility to your children. Our web-app is meant for everyone, however, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Our Be Junior service supports the development of young minds and remains free to use without a requirement for registration, membership or the collection of any information. All registered users and members of Befitment must be 18 years and older. If you are a parent or legal guardian and think your child has given us information, you can email us here.

We apply standard security measures. We have security measures in place to protect your information. The standard security measures we use will depend on the type of information collected.

We may link to external third-party websites.If you click on one of those links, you will be taken to websites we do not control.
